Before the sun comes up on Thursday morning, these
beautiful young people will be piling into the Olivet Moravian Church van and
beginning their summer music tour of Moravian places. The first trek of the
journey will lead The Morning Star Ringers from their homes in
Winston-Salem, NC right into our company where we will welcome them at
"Moravian Night." They'll treat us to a charming concert of handbell
music while they're here learning about the Ohio portions of our shared
Moravian story. By Friday morning, they'll have packed up their luggage and
their bell cases and moved along to other Moravian adventures.
Please come out to meet these folks Thursday evening,
June 25, at the Trumpet in the
Land venue. (http://www.trumpetintheland.com/)
We'll begin to gather at 6:00 p.m. and share in a POTLUCK meal at 6:30 p.m.
(Please bring something delicious to contribute!) The concert will begin at 7:15 p.m.
We will collect an offering during the
program as a way of assisting The Morning Star Ringers with their trip
expenses.
Of course, everyone is invited to stay for the evening
performance of Trumpet in the Land (adults, $15; children, $8).
The "Moravian Night" events will happen in the Trumpet pavilion, rain or shine. (The Trumpet performance itself is weather-dependent.)
It promises to be a wonderful evening of music, of fellowship, and of sharing our heritage!
